All new patients are scheduled for an initial evaluation. During this evaluation, you and the provider will have the opportunity to discuss the onset and current symptoms as well as identify physical, situational, and psychological factors that could be a contributing factor. We will work together to set treatment goals and create a plan to help you reach those goals. This plan could include medication management, behavioral strategies, and/or referrals to therapists, when necessary.

       Spravato (esketamine) Nasal Spray is         indicated, in conjunction with an oral antidepressant, for the treatment of:

• Treatment-resistant depression (TRD) in adults.

• Depressive symptoms in adults with major depressive disorder (MDD) with acute suicidal ideation or behavior.

 During this appointment, we will evaluate the effectiveness of the medication along with your current symptoms, goals and coping strategies, to ensure that effectiveness is being achieved, and only make any adjustments to medication treatments if needed.

Medications will not be changed outside of scheduled appointments.

Medication management appointments are combined with psychotherapy related to your current medication regimen to ensure that a full understanding of treatment is always achieved. 

The GeneSight test is used to clinically obtain important genetic variations in your DNA, as it relates to medications. 

Results can inform your provider about how you may break down or respond to certain medications commonly prescribed to treat depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other psychiatric conditions, without having to go through the process of trying multiple medications.

TELEHEALTH SESSIONS MAY NOT BE CONDUCTED IF YOU ARE DRIVING WHILE DURING THE APPOINTMENT, DUE TO SAFETY ISSUES. In the case you are driving, a regular phone call may suffice for your visit.
